Minimum Age

All drivers must be between 21 and 70 years of age, and certain vehicles require the drivers to be 25 years old. Overseas licenses must have been held for a minimum period of two years.

Driver Identification

We Require:

  • A Driving Licence for All Drivers (Photo Card and Counterpart)
  • Two Forms of Proof of Address (from within Three Months
      - Utility Bill
      - Bank Statement

Fuel Requirement

The hirer receives the vehicle in good order and condition and is liable for cost of all fuel consumed. You must return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel that was in at the start of the hire period.

Condition of Vehicle

The hirer must use the vehicle in a reasonable and proper manner. The hirer is liable for any damage, faults, or loss to or in the vehicle as result of the hirer’s negligence or misuse of the vehicle. The hirer will return the vehicle, together with all the tyres, tools, vehicle documents, and accessories to the agreed return location specified overleaf unless the renter requests and owner agrees to an extension upon demand of leaser.

Use of Vehicle

The vehicle must not be used:

  • To transport goods in violation of customs regulations or in any other illegal manner.
  • To carry passengers or property for a consideration express or implied.
  • To propel or tow any vehicle or trailer without the consent of the lessor.
  • In the motorsport events (including race pace-making, rallying, reliable trials, and speed testing).
  • By any person driving when unfit through drink or drugs with blood alcohol concentration above the limit prescribed by the Road Traffic Acts.
  • By any person other than:
    -  The renter or any person(s) nominated or employed by the renter who is approved by lessor.
    - A person at least 24 years of age or older as stated on lessor’s tariff, is duly qualified, and holds and has held a current valid full driving licence for at least one year.
    - A motor vehicle repairer provided that he is duly qualified and licensed (in the case of breakdown or accident).
  • Outside of the United Kingdom without the express agreement of lessor.
  • The renter is personally liable to pay the lessor on demand:
    - A mileage charge computed at the rate specified overleaf for the mileage covered by the vehicle until the vehicle is returned. The number of miles shall be determined by reading the odometer installed by the manufacturer. If odometer fails the mileage charge shall be calculated from the road map distance of the journey travelled.
    - Time, damage waiver (if any), personal accident insurance (if any), and miscellaneous charges at the rates specified overleaf.
    - The additional fee for one-way rental service, if any, as specified overleaf or, if vehicle is left somewhere other than at the agreed return location without lessor’s written consent, a fee as stated on the current rate folder per mile from renting location where left.

Deposit

A card authorisation of £100.00 is required on commencement of hire. A debt or credit card is used to secure authorisation from hirer’s bank.

Insurance

The hirer is provided with insurance and the hirer is liable for the first £500.00 of any cost or damages. This can be reduced £100.00 with a collision damage waiver.

Fines and Penalties

The hirer is liable for all fines and court costs for parking, traffic, congestion charges, or other legal violations assessed against the vehicle.

Rental Charge

The rental charge includes taxes, breakdown cover, and unlimited mileage. Third-party insurance details of who to contact in the event of a breakdown will be provided at the commencement of hire.
